Seller plans

The right level of support for your sale.

REAL offers three ways to work together. Choose complete auction management, divide responsibilities with our team, or prepare the sale yourself while gaining professional auction oversight and access to established bidding platforms.

Choose how much REAL handles.

The plans define who performs the operational work. Marketing is developed separately around the assets, likely buyers, geographic reach, schedule, and seller’s budget.

02A fully customizable partnership

Collaborative Auction

This plan is built around the customer. We identify your team’s strengths, existing resources, and preferred responsibilities, then REAL fills the gaps everywhere else. The result is a customized scope—not a preset checklist.

Your customized plan may include

  • A clear, written division of customer and REAL responsibilities
  • Customer participation in inventory, photography, descriptions, preview, or loadout
  • REAL support wherever experience, staffing, or technology is needed
  • Catalog review, quality control, and professional auction oversight
  • Platform, sale-format, terms, and timeline coordination
  • Development and execution of the approved marketing campaign
  • Bidder support, invoicing, payment processing, and settlement
Best suited forSellers who have capable employees, asset knowledge, records, or onsite resources and want to use those strengths while relying on REAL to complete and professionally manage the rest.

The customer handles

  • All preview staffing, onsite questions, site security, and buyer access
  • All loadout labor, removal scheduling, and onsite coordination
  • Accurate asset information, condition disclosures, and compliance with the agreed standards and timeline

REAL provides

  • Access to auction-company-only sales platforms and listing the auction through REAL
  • A cataloging app plus training for the customer’s team
  • Remote catalog access, auditing, detailed review, and feedback during setup
  • Legal auction requirements, sale terms, and professional quality control
  • All financial aspects, including invoicing, payment collection, processing, settlement, and reporting
  • Practical tips, proven methods, and industry knowledge REAL has learned through experience
  • Ongoing answers, guidance, and optional marketing assistance or advice
A true partnership that saves sellers moneyREAL remains accountable for the quality of the auction. If required work is not completed correctly or on schedule, REAL will step in and take over the portions necessary to protect the sale and ensure it is conducted properly.

Marketing is separate from the service tier

More qualified awareness can create stronger bidding.

Buyers cannot bid on an auction they do not know exists. REAL recommends a marketing plan based on the likely buyer audience and the seller’s budget, regardless of the chosen service level.

The auction may appear on one marketplace or several platforms simultaneously when broader distribution is appropriate.

How planning begins

A clear scope before the auction starts.

REAL documents the recommended format, responsibilities, marketing approach, schedule, and commercial terms before work begins.

01

Initial consultation

We discuss the assets, seller goals, location, timing, staffing, and available records.

02

Project review

REAL evaluates the asset mix, likely buyers, operational requirements, and suitable platforms.

03

Recommended plan

We recommend a service level, auction format, division of work, schedule, and marketing strategy.

04

Written agreement

The final responsibilities, fees, expenses, terms, and timeline are documented before launch.

Plans are customized to the project.

Asset quantity, location, condition, available staff, removal complexity, timeline, and seller goals affect the final scope. A plan name does not replace the written auction agreement.

Important seller considerations

  • Accurate ownership, condition, and lien information
  • Safe access for photography, preview, and removal
  • Realistic deadlines for catalog preparation and buyer removal
  • Clear identification of utilities, rigging, or specialty removal needs
  • A marketing budget appropriate for the assets and expected audience
